What is ‘Coaching’?

Coaching is a series of techniques and tools designed to help people achieve their goals by overcoming the obstacles they usually put up in their lives themselves.

Coaching mainly deals with the HERE and NOW as well as with the FUTURE.

We mainly focus on answering the HOWs.

This means that we’re not so much concerned with WHY it is that a person does something they don't want to do, but instead we concentrate on HOW they can achieve what they wish for.

Through this process we help the person in front of us grow and learn.

If you were to ask me: “Which is best? Coaching or psychotherapy?”, I would answer: both!

Psychotherapy helps us grow roots, while coaching allows us to grow wings!

What is ‘wellbeing’?

‘Wellbeing’ refers to a way of living that includes the study of the various aspects of our life, such as:

● our feelings

● the way we think

● the way we communicate both on a personal and a professional level

● the amount of satisfaction we receive from our living and working environment

● how fulfilling our job is and whether our talents are put to good use

● our relationship with our family and friends

● our relationship with our romantic partner

● the amount of daily activities we engage in that give us joy and through which we can express our creativity

● our relationship with our body

● our relationship with money

● the extent to which we do things that help us evolve

● self-acceptance, etc.

The concept of wellbeing is divided into 12 areas!

One of them has to do with nutrition and we might think that’s the root of our problem but the original cause could often be traced back to some other area, such as the inability to set boundaries in our work environment or our personal lives and working on improving how we manage that particular area, can cause a domino effect to all the other areas, such as our personal nutrition scheme. For this reason, DIET & NLP WELLBEING COACHING seems to be very effective, especially for people who do emotional binge-eating, i.e. they eat more than they really need to.

In these sessions we deal with both the nutritional and the psychological aspects of a problem. Through the use of COACHING techniques and tools, combined with the NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING (NLP) approach, I can help you recognize and learn to overcome the obstacles you’ve been putting up until now and eventually, achieve your goals.

What is ’NLP’?

NLP is an acronym for Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Its name contains the three elements that have the greatest impact on the production of human experiences:

NEUROLOGY,

that is, our nervous system, which, through the 5 senses, receives the messages from the external environment and then transfers them, processes them and makes connections to create each of our experiences,

LANGUAGE,

that is, the meaning of the words we use to express our experiences and the way in which we give meaning to them.

By language, of course, we mean both our verbal communication (words), and body language, which is performed through facial movements and expressions, also what we call "physiology",

and PROGRAMMING, i.e. the 'programs' and the way we organize our thoughts.

These mechanisms have been created in our brain over time and are shaped by our past experiences.

We combine them with functional programs we already possess, and use them on an unconscious level, to help achieve a specific purpose.

NLP is an approach designed to help people reach their greatest potential, which is why it is called the "Science of Excellence".

Through NLP we study subjective experience, that is, how a person sees the world, how they process and store information, how they make plans and decisions and how they relate to other people.

Thus, whenever we see, hear, smell, taste or touch something, various thoughts are born in us and those thoughts cause feelings, which in turn lead us to certain behavioral patterns.

Different people who are exposed to the exact same stimulus, exhibit completely different reactions.

Take your own reaction when, for example, you see a dog! You could go closer to pet that dog while another could run away in terror!

But also, someone else could pass it by in total indifference!
